Press Up, Down, Left, Right, X, Circle at the title screen. A new „Extra”
option will appear that allows the game to be played with new enemies and
alternate enemy positions.
Hidden area 6:

Select a character in versus mode. Then, highlight the random option on the
area selection screen, hold L1, and press Circle.
