There is a way to get through construction zone without paying salvage.
It does not always work, but any savings is better than none. Approach
the edge of the construction zone at an angle, say, between 30-45 degree
pointing INTO the wall, and continue at max throttle. You’ll sort of
float in the air as you continue through the zone. You have to maintain
the angle or you’ll fall off and end up paying salvage any way. If you
can keep the angle you will make it to the other side.
